Led by our Junior Church, we heard the Nativity story once again, with the part of Jesus played by a baby who had just been baptised at the start of the service.

Our "Bunker" youth group enjoyed a Christmas outing to the ice rink at Somerset House, accompanied by Dave and Yvette. It looks cold!

14 of us went to Bethnal Green to see the Museum of Childhood and their excellent "Small Stories: at Home in a Dolls' House" exhibition highlighting the history of the home, lives and family relationships. One house was based on a home from the St Helier Estate!

A group of us visited Southwark Cathedral where we received a warm welcome. The tour and talk about the history and life of the cathedral were fascinating (thank you David!). We enjoyed Evensong and the choir's beautiful singing - and a visit to the Refectory before leaving!

Following our united morning service nearly 100 of us shared an international meal. Starters and deserts were brought by everyone to share, and we had a choice from 10 main courses cooked by members of our congregation from all over the world. A veritable banquet!

A large party of 31 (plus Ash the dog!) made the most of some wonderful October weather, eating a picnic together, walking around Box Hill and finishing with teas and ice creams at the café.

The Trinity family celebrated Harvest with a Parade service looking at the theme "A Generous Life".

Nine of us from Trinity joined many thousands in London on the Climate Justice March, asking our world leaders to take effective action on clmate change at the forthcoming summit in New York. The sun shone, we enjoyed the the party atmosphere, and the high numbers protesting (this was just one of 2000 marches globally) made the evening news.

The sun shone as 10 of us enjoyed a walk in Nonsuch Park, visiting the mansion's "Service Wing" with laundry, kitchen etc., and seeing the model of Nonsuch Palace and some old (circa 1600) stained glass from the palace.

We enjoyed a 7 mile walk from Farthing Downs car park, picnicking in Happy Valley, looking out from the scarp slope of the North Downs, visiting Chaldon Church with its facinating 12th century wall painting and picking blackberries.

We visited the Thai Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon and enjoyed the peaceful gardens and the exotically decorated temple.

Bluebells were very early this year - we thought we might have missed them. But 22 of us (and a dog!) walked around Banstead Woods enjoying the Bluebells and sunshine.

Churches Together in Sutton and Cheam march up the HIgh Street, stopping for hymns and prayers, as a witness to the town.

On Palm Sunday the Trinity Festival Choir sang "Stainer's Crucifixion" for our evening service - a moving occasion..
